Job Title: Junior HR Consultant

 Report To: Chief Executive Officer

Job Purpose

A growing HR Consultancy needs knowledgeable HR Personnel to assist to implement a variety of Human Resource activities in the company being managed for clients. Qualified applicants will help achieve the business objective by performing key HR Consulting roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Qualified candidates will be performing activities not limited to the following:

  • Assist to manage outsourced employees
  • Assist in reviewing clients’ organizational policies and in drafting new strategic organization / HR Policies
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and management of employees
  • Assist to develop a strategic performance management system that is tailor-made to suit a specified organizations
  • Develop strategies to win new clients and maintain old clients to ensure business continuity
  • Advice clients on labour law regulations and insist compliance
  • Sell the business through presentations and proposal submissions to potential clients
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies

Job specification

Technical Skills

  • Ability to develop job descriptions
  • Fair knowledge of the Labour law
  • Ability to handle recruitment from start to finish
  • Adequate Knowledge in Human Resource Management
  • Must be a strategic thinker to solve problems
  • Ability to draft HR policies for review
  • Highly knowledgeable in Microsoft suite and appreciative technological skills
  • Ability to be trained.

  • Ability to manage time
  • Confident and very confidential
  • Trustworthy
  • Ability to clearly communicate in writing and orally.

Consultant skills

  • Ability to educate clients
  • Ability to listen, diagnose and provide the needed solution
  • Ability to brand the business and professionally present yourself to clients

  • Able to adapt to every environment to achieve the desired result.

Experience and Education

  • A proven experience in HR Consultancy
  • A first degree in Human Resource Management
  • An appreciative developmental training with certificates.
  • Applicants must not be above 30 years.
